1) Thirumoorthy Expresses Support For BN Candidate In Ijok. This one is fresh from Bernama. Rib tickling joke! Thirumoorthy was formerly Kuala Selangor MIC chief. He resigned from MIC three days ago, in a "merajuk" case that received the "bo layan" and "get lost" response from our valued Dato' Seri Samy.

Yesterday the local newspapers reported him expressing his support for the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate, and that"his problem with Samy Vellu would not affect the Indian people’s support for the BN candidate."
"Two days ago, I announced my withdrawal as chairman of the division and the MIC because I was not happy with the choice of candidate. Today, I announce that my supporters and I accept the decision (on the choice of candidate) of the prime minister and deputy prime minister," he told a news conference in Batang Berjuntai near here. For that he got an opportunity to be pictured with Dato Sri Najib and other BN VIP's. What a coup.

And the most rib tickling of it all is this:

I am sure the ever clever Datuk Seri Samy is grinning ear to ear to hear that!
2) It’s going to be a clean fight, says BN Youth. Hilarious joke! Malaysiakini reported a fracas already even on the nomination day.

3) Govt Has The Right To Carry Out Projects At Any Time, Says Samy Vellu. An oxymoronic joke! Bernama reported that Datuk Seri S Samy, the minister responsible for resurfacing road especially during urgent election time like this, said the government reserves the right to implement development projects including road repair and resurfacing works at any time for the benefit of the rakyat.
He defended the ones being undertaken in the Ijok constituency, the stage of the April 28 state by-election, describing them as something routine.
"As a minister, I can order such works to be carried out for which the allocation has been approved some time ago. We are carrying out such projects in Ijok. It is at the request of the rakyat," he told reporters here when queried on allegations by the opposition that, in so doing, the Barisan Nasional (BN) government was fishing for votes.
He jokingly said that the road repair works would also benefit opposition parties as it would be much easier for them to enter the villages and estates to campaign.
Tiba-tiba jalan diturap semula. Paip air ditambah. Sekolah dicat semula tiga kali dalam seminggu. Even a planned "unwanted" landfill project has been relocated. Whoaaaa!
Those constituencies whose representatives died or in the process of dying must be damn lucky nowadays! They are pampered like nobody's business.
No wonder my "shrewd and cunning" countrymen in Kelantan, my birthplace, vowed to continue voting for PAS. The said by continue doing so, they are assured of getting huge rainfall of projects that most other states can only dream off, despite being ruled by BN. You see, the approach of showering Kelantanese with projects by the BN led Federal Government, with the hope of winning their hearts, has been manipulated shrewdly by the Kelantan folks. And by continue voting for PAS, they get two universities: USM School of Medicine and Allied Health, and Universiti Darul Naim. And another dam, bigger than the existing one, is going to be built in Kelantan. Winning hearts they are, but winning votes they certainly are not.
