Rais: apology is sufficient

If the cyber world were buzzing last week poking fun at Rais for his archaic comments about twitter and facebook, then today those people should realy really commend him for being very sensible in saying that blogger Aduka Taruna-who has crossed the line of decency and civility in his 'rough' comments about the demise of Sultan Iskandar last week- be forgiven and let free without any action taken.

From Malaysia Insider: http://web1.themalaysianinsider.net/index.php/bahasa/50852-tiada-tindakan-terhadap-penulis-blog-yang-mohon-maaf

Faster than Badawi?

No way, Jose, I would surmise. But this article is a good read, at least in its nice English.

"Judging from the missing jet engines scandal to the latest “Allah” issue, it seems Najib’s administration may be short-lived – shorter than former PM Abdullah Badawi. You may not like Badawi’s administration because, well, there was no administration in the first place *grin* simply because the country was on auto-pilot while the pilot was dozing off most of the time. Of course Badawi managed to “steal” his first 4-year term with rosy promises otherwise he would have been booted out within a single term."

The whole article can be read here. Go figure!

The end in sight for PMBK?

Alhamdulillah. Looks like the end is in sight for the saga in Perbadanan Menteri Besar Kelantan (PMBK) after months of internal leadership crisis that brought the state administration led by Tok Guru into a tailspin.

Russian Roulette?

Looks like some people, or organizations are playing with a very
lethal Russian Roulette game in they way they are handling the issue
of using the name of 'Allah' by the Catholics. In any typical RR game,
the odd of being killed by your own gun is equal among all risk
takers, yourself included.

I hope sanity will prevail soon before this country is dragged down
into a very dark abyss with no end in sight. We can't afford that.
